Smithy Garage, Dyffryn Ardudwy have been long term sponsors of Bala Town Football Club. Smithy Garage take its name from the family business which began as a Blacksmith and Farriers in 1939. Entering the motor trade in 1960 it was one of the first Mitsubishi dealers in this country, having held the franchise since 1976.

Smithy Garage was voted Europes number one Mitsubishi dealer in 2004, following an extensive customer aftersales survey, we achieved the highest score of all 149 UK Mitsubishi sites and were presented with the award Germany. Other awards include aftersales 2003/2006/2007 and Dealer Image Analysis 2006/2008.

John, David and Einion Roberts, the three brothers and owners of the buisiness, believe that much of their success is down to the garage being a family business and having been in the village for over 50 years. They have forged a good relationship with their customers, customer satisfaction is paramount to the success of their business and they ensure that following every new/used car sale and workshop visit, that customers are satisfied with the quality of service provided by managers and qualified technitions.

There is also a body shop on site, and Smithy Garage is a Mitsubishi and Honda approved repairer that produces an excellent service. Not to be outdone - the forecourt staff won an award in 2010 for outstanding customer service.
