Club stalwart departs

Written by Hannah on Wed 31st August 11, 21:46

It is with great regret that the Club announce the departure of long-serving midfielder, Owain Roberts

“Ows” as he has been affectionately known by all supporters at the Club has decided that he can no longer commit to play for Bala Town owing to family work commitments and has decided instead to play this season for a club nearer to his home, Denbigh Town F.C.

Everyone at Bala Town would like to thank Ows for all his hard work and total dedication over the last 7 seasons with the club.

Colin Caton stated that “Ows is one of those players who had a fantastic attitude and was a very committed lad. He was a pleasure to manage and I would like to wish him all the best for the future. I am very sorry to see him leave but totally understand that the family business takes priority over football and I want to thank him for the loyalty he has shown me, both at Bala and Colwyn Bay.”
