Bala went into the game with confidence and started brightly by keeping the ball well.
Most of the play was in the TNS half but they were a team that were able to counter attack quickly and unfortunately this was the difference today.
TNS had two or three impressive individuals whose speed and strength was enough to score them three goals in thirty minutes. Although Bala created more chances through Dani Evans and Ilan, Bala were unable to hit the back of the net.
The Bala midfield werein control but creating chances in the final third proved difficult. Just before half time Bala suffered another blow as they struggled to deal with a cross. A tap in for TNS and Bala were four nil down. It was a case of four chances, four goals and Bala unable to take advantage of excellent ball possession.
Second half was a different story and TNS proved too strong physically for Bala. The Bala defence had to work overtime second half but coped well under extreme pressure.
Both Aron Parry and Myles communicating well together with their full backs Tom and Mael. Whilst TNS scored three more goals,Bala created only a couple of chances.
Bala however must be praised for their all round effort and attitude as it was superb. Today TNS were too strong, an important lesson for the lads though. I’m certain with the quality of footballers we have, we will bounce back looking to improve on our performance.
