With last weeks game, like so many others around the country falling prey to the weather, it was great to be making our way down to Prestatyn for todays game.

  Bala bounced back from their defeat to Newtown with a convincing win at Prestatyn.

  Once again the 14s had a few players missing due to injury but they were very positive and up for the game.

  The old saying "it was one of those games" couldn´t be further from the truth for this game as Bala played well and the result didn´t reflect the true performance of the visitors.

  The U14’s followed up a great performance against Flint last Sunday to gain some revenge for their eight-goal mauling by Connah’s Quay earlier this month.

  The previous fixture between the two teams a few weeks back ended in a draw, so with this being the last game before the winter break, both teams would have wanted to go into the layoff with a good performance under their belt.
