This amazing result ensures Bala remain on top of the Welsh Premier for another week

And further demonstrates the Club has made to remain a force at the highest level of Welsh football.

Bala got off to a fantastic start when Lee Hunt, playing his first full match since his high profile signing, nipped in brilliantly to side foot home after the Aber keeper could only parry a fierce Mark Jones shot with only one minute of play taking place.

The travelling fans were sent into more euphoria on 7 minutes when an intricate passing move saw Mark Connolly rifle a shot into the bottom corner for a 2-0 lead.

Weather conditions were appalling but Bala controlled much of the initial possession. The home side however threatened on occasions and only a superb sliding challenge by Conall Murtagh prevented a home team reply.

Terry McCormick in the Bala goal made an excellent save from the dangerous Lewis Codling and the same striker then failed to control a ball when free only 8 yards out.

Bala had further chances with Chris Mason failing to hit the target with 2 good chances and Bala were slightly fortunate to reach the interval without conceding after clearing off the line and seeing a Ricky Evans free kick graze a post.

Terry McCormick produced and excellent save in the 3rd minute of stoppage time to send a rampant Bala team in with a 2-0 interval lead.

Peter Doranīs injury saw him replaced at half time by Ross Jefferies the second half began controversially with Aberīs substitute being dismissed after only 3 minutes for foul and abusive language.

Bala then completely dominated with Chris Mason having a shot tipped round the post and Lee Hunt hitting a fierce shot which partly saved and then cleared off the line.

Mark Jones who was again inspirational in midfield hit a volley inches wide before Mark Connolly produced a superb run and finish to see the vistorīs lead extended.

Chris Mason then fired wide after being put through on goal and Ross Jefferies had a shot well saved by a busy and skillful home keeper.

Mark Jones then made him produce another excellent save after a superb interchange with Lee Hunt but Balaīs dominance was rewarded with another Lee Hunt goal when he rounded the keeper to slot home on 73 minutes.

Stephen Brown replaced Hunt and he shot inches wide as soon as he came onto the pitch.

The scoreline did not flatter an impressive Bala performance and anticipation is now high for the home fixture on Wednesday evening against Port Talbot.
