Chris Masonīs equaliser earns Bala a point in the first game of the season
Bala Town earned a 1-1 draw against last season runners up The New Saints this evening.
The New Saints opened the scoring with only 3 minutes on the clock with Matty Williams scoring the first goal of the new league campaign.
The lead only lasted 10 minutes when last seasons top scorer Chris Mason opened his tally for the season to make it 1-1.
Barry Hogan was then sent off early in the second half after a second yellow card.
A great result for the Lakesiders in a very competitive match.
