This Friday sees the Lakesiders host the Robins for our 2nd Friday night match of the season
Town currently sit comfortably in 5th place and will be looking to close the 2 point gap on Bangor City with a win against the mid-Walians.
Bala have gained 7 out of a possible 9 points over the last three matches with wins against Afan Lido and Carmarthen and a 2-2 draw against league leaders TNS and have been able to open a 6 point gap between ourselves and Prestatyn in 6th place.
Last Saturday Town for the 1st time in four attempts came back with 3 points from Richmond Park to keep us in a great position for the league split.
Defender Mike Byron secured the points came back to Maes Tegid with a superb volley from a Peter Doran corner in the 66th minute.
Newtown last weekend suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Aberystwyth which left them 11th with 6 points.
When the Lakesiders travelled to Latham Park in the 3rd game of the season, Town were 2-0 winners with Stephen Brown and Chris Mason the scorers to send the Lakesiders to top of the league.
