Bala Town are delighted to announce the return of Gary Roberts to Maes Tegid!

The 36 year old returns to the Town having left Wigan Athletic in early November.

Robbo returns having racked up a total of 550 appearances in the Football League while playing for Accrington Stanley, Ipswich Town, Crewe Alexandra, Huddersfield Town, Swindon Town, Chesterfield, Portsmouth, and most recently Wigan Athletic.

Gary has also represented his country at C level with England, and was capped 4 times during 2005 and 2006.

During his spell with Huddersfield Town, Gary would go on to pick up the Player Of The Year and the Players’ Player Of The Year in the 2008/2009 season.

Earlier in his career, he would also play for Rhyl, Bangor City and Welshpool Town, before making the step up and signing for Accrington Stanley who were then in the Conference National.

He joins The Lakesiders having had a brief spell with The Town back in 2003/2004, the year that Colin Caton was appointed as manager, and the club were promoted into the Cymru Alliance.

Gary will wear the number 22 shirt for the Town.
