Bala Town can confirm their Coaching team line-up for the 2020/21 season.
Colin Caton, Stephen Fisher, Ryan Valentine, Harri Lloyd and Ffiona Evans have all agreed to stay with the Lakesiders for the forthcoming season with the Town squad all reporting back for pre-season training soon.
Manager Colin Caton gave this thoughts about his backroom staff;
“I have cemented my team for the forthcoming season. Ste Fisher is to stay on as Assistant Manager, Ryan Valentine will stay on as First Team Coach, Harri Lloyd will stay on as Goalkeeping Coach and Ffiona Evans will stay on as Club Physiotherpist.”
“I’m delighted to work with Steve again. We’ve been together for 16 years and I don’t think there’s another partnership in the League that can match that and our working relationship is fantastic. We enjoy working together and we push each other. Without Steve, Bala Town wouldn’t have achieved half as much as we have so I’m very happy to work with Steve not just with the football side of things but on a personal note aswell. He’s a top friend of mine.”
“Ryan Valentine he brings so much experience to the team, it’s second to none and we are extremely happy to keep Val. Both him and Steve have captained the team over the years and we always look to recruit within. Both Val and Steve have captained Bala Town teams of the past and it’s great to have them on board in the Club. They have the Club at heart and I’m really looking forward to the new season with the both of them.”
“Harri is an up and coming goalkeeping coach and I’m looking forward to working with Harri. He did a brilliant job with Josh Tibbetts last season and he’ll be working alongside Alex Ramsay and A another goalkeeper that will come in. He’s got really good, fresh ideas, he mixes well with the lads, it’s a great coup for us that he’s stayed on.”
“Finally we have Ffi – she is absolutely fantastic. She’s been a breath of fresh air since joining the Club. She works so hard especially during this Covid pandemic to try and get us back into training and prepping for the Europa League game on August 27th. Ffi’s had a lot of work to take in with what she has to do so it’s great to have her on board aswell. She’s been with us for a couple of seasons now and I was delighted to see her committed to the Club.”
“That’s the coaching staff and the team that’s going to drive us onto what will hopefully be a successful season. I’d like to thank them all for committing back to the Club and couldn’t wish for a better backroom team. I can’t wait to work alongside them yet again. We’re a close knit group and we work hard together and hopefully we achieve what we can, like we did last season” he concluded.
