The biggest game for the Reserves since re-establishing!

With a difficult start to re-establishment for the Reserves, this Horace Wynne Cup Quarter Final is the perfect opportunity for our Reserves to gain some confidence for the remaining games of the league season, and not to mention, a chance at some silverware!

Coming into this game, our Reserves have been on a rocky road, with only 1 win in their last 4 games. On the other hand, our visitors have only lost one game in 2020, all be it, they have only played 2 league games since the start of January, along with one cup victory and a friendly victory.

Both teams played on the weekend, with contrasting results, as our Reserves fell to defeat against league leaders Connah’s Quay Nomads 6-0, and our visitors putting 4 past Bellevue FC with no response.

At the minute, the danger man for Borras Park Albion is Jack Hanley who has registered 9 league goals for his club this season. However, our Reserves top goalscorer for the league is Cai Aykroyd who has also registered 9 league goals so far this season!

Although our Reserves have been on a bad run of form, they are ready for their biggest game of the season, with preperations going on at the start of the week.

This sure will be a cracking match, and both sides will be expected to give it with all they have. The Reserves would appreciate anyone to come support them, to cheer them on and push them into the semi final of the Horace Wynne Cup! We hope to see you there!
