Lakesiders to welcome league leaders on Friday.

We are nearing the halfway point of the Championship Conference and we have a massive game ahead of us this weekend as we welcome Connah’s Quay to Maes Tegid.

Last weekend saw the Nomads in the JD Welsh Cup against Cardiff Met and were knocked out with a surprising 2-1 win for the Archers.

Back in the Cymru Premier, the league leaders won 1-0 against The New Saints infront of the Sgorio cameras to take their lead at the top of the table to 4 points.

Bala had the weekend off but were hard at work in training as they look to build on their fantastic start to the second phase of the season.

With 7 out of a possible 9 points to their name, Town are sat in third place only three points behind The New Saints in second so a win this weekend would make things very interesting in the race for Europe.

Town will be without Henry Jones on Friday evening who is serving a one match suspension meanwhile Jonny Spittle returns from injury.

Friday night’s match sponsor is R. F. Jones who always sponsors Town’s games against Connah’s Quay and is sponsoring this game for the second time this season. Foxy has followed the Lakesiders home and away for years and we can’t thank him enough for all his support. Diolch Foxy am dy gefnogaeth teyrngar eto eleni!

Ball sponsor on Friday evening is Eric Green who also sponsored Town back in August. Based on Deeside but from Bala originally, Eric is another loyal supporter of the Lakesiders, we’d like to thank Eric for his support and generosity! Diolch Eric!
