First match of 2020 coming up!
It’s a new year and it’s a trip down to the capital for the Lakesiders for their first match of 2020.
Sitting in third only three points behind The New Saints and Connah’s Quay, Bala came through the festive period unscathed with 6 points out of a possible six against Caernarfon and are full of confidence after sealing a spot in the Championship Conference.
Saturday’s opponents are currently 8th in the table but still have a massive chance of bagging a spot in the top six with two games left to play. Over the festive double header, they lost 1-0 and drew 1-1 against Barry Town United after what has been an uncharacteristic poor run of form for the Archers.
Back in the reverse fixture in September it was a 2-1 win for Christian Edwards’ men with Eliot Evans and Dion Phillips scoring in the second half after Town were 1-0 up so Bala will be looking to correct that on Saturday.
New signing Louis Augustin should be cleared to play meanwhile a couple of other signings are due to be announced ahead of the weekend so stay tuned for those!
The Lakesiders have no fresh injury doubts. Kieran Smith returns after his one match suspension.
Admission: £6 adults, £3 senior citizens & children £1.
