The action continues at Maes Tegid this weekend as we welcome Carmarthen Town on Saturday afternoon.
After midweek Cup action against Bangor City, it’s been a quick turnaround for the Lakesiders who now have two home games coming up, starting against Carmarthen who are currently bottom of the table.
Danny Thomas will be taking the Old Gold team this weekend instead of Neil Smothers. With no win on the board in their opening nine games, but after two close games last season, Bala will be wary of their threat this weekend.
The Lakesiders have won their last three games against Aberystwyth, Cefn Druids and Bangor and can go second in the table with a win at the weekend as Connah’s Quay take on Caernarfon on Tuesday due to the Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer Cup.
Mike Hayes is a doubt after his serious neck injury against Druids with Stuart Jones also a doubt. After a start midweek, Jonny Spittle is pushing for his first JD Cymru Premier start of the season and Josh Tibbetts is close to a return.
Kickoff – 2.30p.m.
Williams Homes Ltd are our match sponsors this weekend. Williams Homes are long term sponsors of the Club and we would like to thank them for their generous support once again this season. Williams Homes are a construction company who produce high quality low Carbon building solutions, windows, external doors and timber frames. A family run business based on the Industrial Estate in Bala, Williams Homes supply a comprehensive range of services from design and supply of kits through to supplying complete houses.
Ball sponsors on Saturday are Hereford Civil Service F.C. Peter Spitzmaul and his friends are a few of the squad members who all used to play together in the late 70’s and early 80’s and sponsored the Lakesiders last season. They are coming down for the weekend so we hope they enjoy their time with us once more.
