A new stadium to visit for the Lakesiders!

Bala Town will be visiting the KYMCO Stadium for the first time this weekend as they take on newly promoted Penybont who are managed by Rhys Griffiths.

It’s not the first meeting between the Clubs who met in the JD Welsh Cup in 2017 at Maes Tegid with Town winning 4-1 after extra time with goals from Anthony Stephens, Mark Jones, Ian Sheridan and Kieran Smith.

Penybont have lost three and drawn once in their opening four fixtures with a narrow defeat against The New Saints last weekend.

Meanwhile it was a first defeat of the season for the Lakesiders last weekend at home against Connah’s Quay but Bala will be hoping to bounce back on Saturday afternoon.

New signings Tom Stephens and Sion Sullivan are both up for selection after putting pen to paper with the Lakesiders last week. Bala will be without goalkeeper Josh Tibbetts who is close to a return from his injury sustained at Barry Town United.

Kickoff – 2.30p.m.

Admission: £7 adults, £5 senior citizens/students, free Under 15’s

Directions: Leave the M4 at Junction 36. Ignoring the signs for Bridgend/Pen-y-Bont take the A4063 towards Maesteg.
