Two big fixtures this Bank Holiday weekend!

Friday will be the first of two fixtures for the Lakesiders during the Bank Holiday weekend as we welcome The New Saints to Maes Tegid.

Town face a difficult week in general with games against last season’s top three ahead of them in the next week.

Fresh out of European competitions, it’s been a busy summer for Scott Ruscoe’s men who have faced Feronikeli, Copenhagen and Ludogorets in the Champions League and then the Europa League, only finishing their European fixtures last week.

In action on Sunday, they were 1-0 winners against Caernarfon thanks to a first half goal by Ryan Brobbel.

Meanwhile Town were in action last Friday against newly promoted Airbus, winning 2-1 thanks to Chris Venables’ brace but there were two very different halves of football by the Lakesiders but plenty of positives to take into Friday’s match.

The Lakesiders will be without Danny Gosset and Jonny Spittle who have both sustained injuries and will be unavailable for a few weeks. Other than that, Town are at full strength.

Match sponsor for our first home league fixture is John Clwyd. A lifelong Town supporer, John is a regular sponsor of our games v The New Saints and we are extremely grateful for his support once more. Diolch ofnadwy John!

Ball sponsors for the first time are Y Cyfnod Cafe & Bistro. From pizzas to steaks, fish dishes to breakfasts, Y Cyfnod is one of the busiest restaurants around! Mehmet and his team are very welcoming and you are missing out if you haven’t popped in for a meal yet! To book a table visit their website
