The Welsh Premier League has today announced the key dates for the forthcoming 2019/20 season.

The season will commence on the weekend of 16/17/18th August with MD1, and conclude with MD32 on the 25th April, 2020.

The action though will kick-off on the first weekend of August with the opening round of this season’s Nathaniel MG Cup, with the second round the following week.

Phase 1 of the season will end with MD22 on 18th January, 2020 and will be followed by the Nathaniel MG Cup Final on 1st February.

The new Tier 2 leagues will also start on the weekend of 16/17/18th August, with the season finishing on the first weekend of May.

The WPL season will once again end with the European Playoffs, the Final of which is currently schedule for the weekend of 16/17th May 2020.

Fixtures for both Tiers 1 and 2 will be out next week. JD Welsh Premier League fixtures will be released at 1.00p.m. on Tuesday, 25th June with the Tier 2 Northern and Southern Leagues seeing their fixtures released on Friday 28 June, again at 1.00p.m.
