Lakesiders head down south at the weekend.

Christmas is almost upon us but the trip to Llanelli will be the main focus this weekend for the Bala squad.

In our penultimate game of 2018, a visit to Stebonheath is ahead of us with Llanelli currently 11th in the table with eleven points who have won, drawn and lost against Cefn Druids, Caernarfon and Cardiff Met in the last three games.

5th in the table, Town come into the game after two draws against Cefn Druids and The New Saints. With a top 6 spot still needing to be confirmed, a win on Saturday is essential with the league split coming up mid January.

Our last visit to Stebonheath was back in April 2013 when Town won 5-1 with Ian Sheridan scoring a hatrick and further goals from Lee Hunt and Stephen Brown.

Back at the start of October, the Lakesiders won 3-1 against 10 men Llanelli at Maes Tegid with Steven Tames notching two and Nathan Burke scoring once.

Town have no fresh injury worries going into Saturday’s game.

Kickoff 2.30p.m.

Address: Stebonheath Park, Penallt Road, Llanelli, SA15 1EY.
