The Lakesiders take a break from League action on Tuesday evening as we travel to Cae y Castell to take on Flint Town United.

It’s the JD Welsh Cup Round 3 but there might be a feeling of deja-vu for the supporters who’ve already seen us play Flint in one cup competition this season!!

Back in October, Town breezed past the Cymru Alliance outfit in the League Cup, winning 6-1 thanks to goals from Stuart J. Jones, Mike Hayes (2) and a Kieran Smith hatrick.

However, Bala can’t underestimate their opponents who are 3rd in the table and have goalscorer Mark Cadwallader who has netted 10 times in their ranks. After last year’s early exit against Aberystwyth, Town will be aiming to progress into the fourth round.

It was a 2-2 draw for the Lakesiders last week away at Cefn Druids and they will be eager for a similar first half display for the whole 90 minutes on Tuesday evening.

After Saturday’s postponement, entry will be free for all supporters on Tuesday night.

Kickoff 7.45p.m.

SatNav: Cae-y-Castell, Marsh Lane, Flint CH6 5PJ

Directions: On entering Flint follow signs for Flint Castle the ground is then situated 200 yards from the castle car park.
