The Under 11’s travelled to Colwyn Bay and the boys performed well.

Deio was filling in in a unfamiliar role in central midfield. It was an even first 15 minutes then in the last 5 min the front three working so hard pressing their defenders forcing them in to mistakes and Llŷr scoring a cracking header from a Owen P corner.

More period of pressure followed with Owen P getting a shot away through their keeper with a good save and Ffranc following up the rebound.

2nd third – Harvey came on for his first game for us and performed really well kept it simple and tireless in midfield. And it was his tackle that created the next goal. He won the ball gave it first time to Ffranc who cut inside and produced a cool finish in to the far corner. Iolo got on the score sheet when his cross/shot went in over the goalkeepers head.

Last third started in a similar way, losing Iestyn through injury was a major worry but Deio came in a filled in again in a unfamiliar role. We scored a cracking goal when Ows won the ball in the middle of the pitch passing the ball to Owen P who took a touch and put in an early low cross where Ows having continued his run tapped it in.

Overall a positive performance especially as we had so many players missing.

Man of the Match: Owen P (3 assists and always a menace!)
