Bala Town Ladies are looking to appoint a Girls and Ladies Coordinator to join their Girls & Women’s Programme.

Important Requirements:
• To have a genuine interest in the development of females in football
• To have a thorough understanding of the pathways of women’s football in Wales
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Increasing the numbers of female participants through the CICS Cymru project
• Increasing the opportunities for females to get involved and stay involved in football as a player, coach, volunteer, administrator and or committee member
• To actively promote the benefits of playing football to females
• To enable the effective implementation of female only football through the CICS Cymru project
• To establish and sustain effective partnerships to create more opportunities for girls and women
• To ensure the increased recruitment and development of female players, coaches, volunteers, administrators and committee members
• To identify, organize and promote appropriate training opportunities to support the development of female football
• To support any female initiatives / events to promote female participation driven by Bala Town Football Club and CICS Cymru
• To establish a relationship with local schools to promote girls and women’s football

The candidate will also lead our newly formed Bala Town Ladies as Head Coach.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct a weekly training session
• Liaise with players regarding training and match days
• Match day preparations, which include warm up’s, match preparation and games
• Player recruitment.

Important: Candidates will be required to commit to Monday & Tuesday evenings and Sundays.

• Ability to effectively develop players and promote coaching development
• A demonstrated commitment to female participation
• Ability to sell the benefits of participating in football to females
• Thorough understanding of the developmental needs of female players/ coaches
• Positively promote girls and Ladies football at Bala Town Football

Rate of pay
• The rate of pay will be £20 per week as the Girls and Ladies Co-Ordinator
• The rate of pay as head coach will be £10 for training and £10 for games

Essential considerations: –
• Practical experience of coaching football – FA Qualified (level 1 minimum) –
• Have a genuine interest in the development of females in football
• First Aid Qualified
• Strong planning, organisational and observational skills
• Excellent communication skills with players and parents
