Matchday 22 is almost here!

Yes it’s the final game before the JD WPL splits at the half way point of the season. Town confirmed their spot in the top six a couple of weeks ago but there is significance to Saturday’s game as opponents Barry Town United have an outside chance of sealing the final sixth spot.

For Town, another milestone will be hit with Manager Colin Caton taking charge of his 600th game of the Lakesiders and after a busy festive period with 5 games in 16 days, after this weekend a welcomed fortnight off will arrive which will be a huge help due to Town’s growing injury list.

It will be the first time for the Lakesiders to visit Jenner Park to face Barry Town United. Town have infact played at Jenner Park against Rhoose a couple of years ago in the JD Welsh Cup but this will be the first time playing on the 3G surface.

Two losses on the bounce for Barry will mean that the home side will be hoping to get back to winning ways on Saturday, meanwhile the Lakesiders will be hoping to continue their good recent run of form and close the gap on nearest rivals Bangor City.

Chris Venables returns after his one match ban meanwhile new signings John Disney and Lewis Short will be pushing for starts after two solid displays on their debuts last weekend in Llandudno.

Kickoff 5.15p.m.
