The Old Gold visit the Lakesiders on Saturday afternoon.

It’s matchday five at Maes Tegid as we welcome Carmarthen Town for our third home game of the 2017-18 season.

Carmarthen sit bottom of the table after four games but have been on the road for every game of the season to date due to the installation of a 3G surface at Richmond Park.

The Lakesiders lost narrowly 1-0 away at Connah’s Quay on Friday evening and were left pondering about their missed chances as Town dominated possession but were unable to get the ball in the net in Deeside.

It’s going to be a busy few days for the Lakesiders who will be away at Cefn Druids on Thursday evening but a points return from both games will be vital for the Lakesiders. Two Lakesiders wins and two draws were the outcome of last season’s four games last season against the Old Gold.

Going into Saturday’s game, Anthony Stephens will miss due to still recovering from his knee injury but the Lakesiders have no further injury worries.

Kickoff 2.30p.m.

Our ball sponsors on Saturday are The Spitzmaul Family from Hereford. Pete, Katie and Matthew are loyal supporters for the Lakesiders and sponsored our European home tie against Vaduz back in June. As always, thank you to Pete and the family for their continued support for the Lakesiders – we look forward to seeing you all on Saturday!
