On Tuesday, 12th September, Bala Town visited Coleg Meirion Dwyfor ahead of Wednesday’s Tournament in Rhos on Sea.

Andy Kelly and Ladies captain Sarah Cowell visited the Dolgellau campus as we recruited our first year of players for the 2017-18 season. Players will have the opportunity to represent the College and Ladies squads and also have further opportunities to start their coaching journeys and join our under 19’s squad. Andy and Sarah will be returning to the College in a fortnight for a discussion on further opportunities and the benefits of joining our Scholarship programme.

Our partnership with Coleg Meirion Dwyfor will allow for students to have opportunities to study for their A Level qualifications alongside playing football on a regular basis.

Cullen Rodgers, who has enrolled at the College, will be a member of the Scholars team and is a member of the Bala Town Under 19’s squad. Cullen alongside another 14 players from the Dolgellau and Pwllheli campus will be attending a tournament in Rhos on Sea on Wednesday, 13th September on the 3G in Llandrillo representing Coleg Meirion Dwyfor. They will play v Coleg Menai at 2.00p.m. followed by Llandrillo at 3.00p.m.

Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor offers a range of Sports qualifications. If you need more information on any of our courses, please visit the courses section of their website at www.gllm.ac.uk/courses or contact their course advice line on 01341 422 827.
