It’s the last League game of the season *sob*!

Saturday will see us wrap up the 2016-17 Dafabet Welsh Premier League campaign as we welcome The New Saints to Maes Tegid.

Our 5th meeting of the season will be a dress rehearsal for next weekend’s JD Welsh Cup Final which sees the Clubs meet as they both battle for the prestigious trophy.

Town are in a battle of their own. 2nd spot is still up for grabs and only goal difference separates ourselves and Connah’s Quay. Quay make the long trip down to Cardiff Met, Bala will be looking out for the result at Cyncoed as a draw would be enough for the Lakesiders if the Archers can do the Lakesiders a favour and take all three points!

As we all are aware, Town haven’t won in the previous 28 meetings but the Lakesiders will be looking to bounce back from Saturday’s loss at the Nomads and secure 2nd spot.

The Saints lost 3-0 at Bangor City last weekend which surprised a few but Bala are aware of the threat that their opponents are. Have a read of Ryan Valentine’s thoughts here.

Bala will be close to full strength going into our final game of the season but The New Saints will be without Micah Leca who was sent off last weekend.

It’s our last game of the season – get yourselves down to Maes Tegid!

Match sponsor for this top of the table clash is John Clwyd. A loyal Town fan, John has been a Lakesiders fan for many a year and is a regular sponsor of the Bala Town v The New Saints fixture. Diolch i ti John am dy gefnogaeth unwaith eto.

Ball sponsors are Bryniau Golau, Llangywer. Peter and Katrina run their luxurious 5 star bed and breakfast on the banks of Llyn Tegid and we are extremely grateful for their support this season. Their stunning Victorian house has three stylish, comfortable and spacious double en-suite rooms to choose from named Berwyn, Aran and Arenig looking onto breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. Have a look at their website here.

We have two mascots on Saturday – Thomas Williams and Thomas Hughes will be leading the teams out. We hope you both enjoy your day at Maes Tegid!
