Bala Town are delighted to announce that Jordan Evans has signed for the Lakesiders.
Jordan joins us after leaving Wrexham last month following a 6 month spell with his hometown Club. Hailing from Wrexham, the 21 year old is a left footer who can play at left-back or on the wing.
Joining Wrexham’s Centre of Excellence aged 10, Jordan was picked up Fulham and was at Craven Cottage until June 2016. He spent a month loan spell at Oxford United where he made 14 starts including the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final at Wembley.
Capped by Wales U21’s on nine occasions, Evans took part in the Under 21 European Championships in 2014.
Colin Caton spoke of his delight;
“Jordan is a great catch for the Club and hopefully his time here will be a stepping stone for him back into the Football League in due course. He is adding more depth to the squad at the most important part of the season and a further bonus is that he’s a local lad and has already represented his country at Under 21 level”.
Welcome to Maes Tegid Jordan. He will wear the number 17 shirt for the Lakesiders.
