The game started very evenly with both sides having early chances, but it was TNS who took the lead after 15 mins through a penalty.
The ball was crossed in to the Bala Town box from a corner which was not dealt with, this caused mayhem in the 6 yard box and as it was headed goalwards from a TNS player, Gethin Evans was adjudged to have handballed it on the line.
Bala instantly replied with Man Of The Match Will Owen forcing the TNS keeper im to a save from a shot which went out for a corner. From the resulting corner, Charlie Williams corner was met by Skipper Steff Parry whos header was blocked on the line before Will Owen smashed the ball in for his first of the season.
Bala looked extremely damgerous on the counter, and their efforts were rewarded when a TNS corner was cleared to Cai Henshaws feet who glided past the oncoming defender but was tackled by the second and the ball rolled out for a throw. Henshaw quickly picked up the ball and threw it in to Will Owens feet who had two TNS defenders to beat, and did so, before sliding the ball past the keeper.
The second half was a very end to end, with Rob Dascalu saving Bala twice with one save from a shot from, distance by TNS midfielder Ben Clark, and was again involved diving at the feet of the impressive Clark with an extremely brave save. Special mention must go to Cai Johnson who gave the TNS winger a hard time, and Charlie Williams who was brilliant throughtout.
